Design
I've worked as a designer (wearing many hats) at both startup and mid-size companies.
Most recently, I spent the last 2+ years building GFX Lab's to improve the UX of defi platforms. Before that, I was at Peerpal building p2p software for admissions around the globe. And before that I was in e-commerce building (YC W20) The Mercer Club's entire luxury retail experience from the ground up.
I believe design should be felt, not noticed. And I enjoy the meticulous nature of the process required to arrive at that state.Process
I approach product in an exploratory manner taking into consideration a multitude of factors including client needs, time constraints, and business objectives. Rather than a one size fits all approach, I work with clients and/or teams to realize success on their terms.
Curious in nature, all constraints are taken as an enjoyable challenge. I don't pretend to know it all and welcome new processes or perspectives with open arms.
Start with a question first. What is the end goal for implementation? Why does it matter? What is a base I can mold all research and development to - whether it be competitive, qualitative, or quantitative data.Inspiration
Like software - lifestyle, spacial design, & architecture seek to improve the quality of life for humans. Otherwise, cognitive science and anthropology will always have a special place in my bookmarks.
In my spare time I like to write and design furniture, learn french and portuguese (just not all at once).
